Today, Azerbaijan proudly celebrates 8 November – Victory Day, one of the most significant dates in the history of independent Azerbaijan.
This historic victory was achieved through the courage, sacrifice and determination of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. Thousands of brave Azerbaijani soldiers gave their lives for the freedom and territorial integrity of our homeland. We remember our martyrs with deep respect and honour our veterans and war heroes who carry this victory with pride.
Under the leadership of Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan achieved a historic victory that became a symbol of national unity, strength and patriotism.
On this special day, we congratulate every Azerbaijani citizen, honour our fallen heroes and express our gratitude to all those who contributed to the liberation of Karabakh.
May Azerbaijan always enjoy peace, security, prosperity and lasting stability.
